New Directions Youth Shelter

New Directions Youth Shelter common area

New Directions serves unaccompanied youth ages 14 to 24 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or fleeing unsafe living situations. Our youth-focused programming provides not just shelter, but a pathway to independence and self-sufficiency.

Youth Services

  • Emergency and transitional beds for youth ages 14 to 24
  • GED preparation and educational support
  • Job readiness training and employment placement
  • Independent living skills workshops
  • Mental health counseling and crisis intervention

Youth are matched with mentors from the community who provide guidance and encouragement as they work toward educational and employment goals. Our goal is to help every young person build the skills and connections needed for lasting stability.
